The Facebook page of 'Anti-discrimination Student Movement' which has been formed against the discriminatory quota system in government jobs has been hacked.  The coordinators of the organization claim that the main Facebook group of the movement, through which their movement spread nationwide, has been hacked. These groups are now not controlled by anyone involved in the movement, including their coordinating panel.

Rifat Rashid, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, gave this information in a post on Facebook after 12:00 pm on Thursday. Later, going to the Facebook group named 'Quota Punorbahal Kora Cholbe Na', it was found that the current members of the group are more than 531,000. Currently the group has admins and moderators from 4 IDs.

In a Facebook post, Rifat Rasheed writes, the main Facebook group of our anti-discrimination student movement, through which our movement spread countrywide, has been hacked. This group is now not being controlled by anyone involved in the movement, including our coordinating panel. This was the lifeline of our movement management and connectivity with all of Bangladesh.

"An open call to all IT experts of the country and abroad to help rescue this group. Without this Facebook group, it will be very difficult to conduct the movement. So, I make an open appeal to everyone to recover the group.”

He also writes, Share the post and spread it everywhere, arrange to pass this post to the IT experts you know. Also spread the message to all of Bangladesh that this group is no longer under the control of the anti-discrimination student movement. So that the students of this country are united against all the rumors spread by the group and are not misguided.
